Under which circumstances do I receive a receipt?

You will receive a receipt from the Payee when money was transferred using a QR scanner.
Payments made by email do not receive receipts. 
If you need to know whether the payee has deposited the payment, please request a server record.

What is a payee transaction ID?

A payee transaction ID is the local transaction ID on the payee device.
NOTE: You will only know the payee transaction ID, if you requested a server record, or received a receipt from the payee.

A local transaction ID is an Identifier unique to your device uniquely identifying the transaction within the digi.cash system.

What is a Rebalance?

Rebalancing is exchange coins and notes for other denominations of equal value. 
It is the equivalent of asking for change with regular cash, so that you have enough coins and notes to make payments of all possible values.

In order to prove that you have made a payment, you have to request a server record and hereby disclose your identity.

How can I request a server record?

In order to request a server record:
  1. Open the digi.cash App
  2. Go to ‘Statements’ on your home screen
  3. Select the transaction you wish to get the server record for
  4. Go to 'Actions'
  5. Click on ‘Server Record’ 
  6. The server record will be retrieved
